This week on Silicon Valley Career Pathways we want to introduce to you one of our summer interns: Nick Lewis. This is Nick's first summer with us and he's working as our SVCP Specialist, Technology Support.

What’s your background:

I was born and raised in Sacramento with 3 siblings. I attended Mt. San Antonio College and received my Associates in Kinesiology. During my time at Mt. Sac, I received a football scholarship to Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. I am finishing up my bachelors in Computer Information and System Networking.

Are you an Android or iOS user?

I started off as an Android user, but I can’t live without emojis and switched to iOS and never looked back.

What are you listening to/reading/ watching these days?

My music bounces on my moods, I go from J. Cole to Jack Johnson to Jodeci to Kirk Franklin. I am currently binge watching The Flash on Netflix, but before that was Narcos.

What are you looking forward to working on with SVCP this summer?

Coming into SVCP, I am really excited in building relationships with the team and learning from my peers.

What do you like to do when you’re not working on workforce development (or education)?

In my free time, I love to be out doors and stay active. But then, I also like to lay on the couch and catch up on my Netflix shows as well.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Education or career-wise?

In five years I see myself being head of a tech department assisting multiple schools and programs.

Welcome, Nick! We look forward to seeing all of your amazing work.
